Port Ascension is one of two spaceports in Wafisa’s megacity. It was completely empty when the crew arrived: empty docking bays, flickering half-functional lighting, no signs of activity. The stillness set the tone for how abandoned Wafisa is.
The only functioning feature is a broken android help desk unit, bolted directly to the floor and missing its lower half, that greets arrivals with “Welcome to Port Ascension. How may I assist you?” It serves as the sole terminal for interfacing with station systems; Felix jacked into it to download maps of the city.
