Kano Rix was a cat burglar with a storied criminal history, described by Thorne’s mother as “extremely useful.” He was a practitioner of Shintech, a faith concerned with speaking to the “spirits of the machine.” He was Thorne’s best and only real friend.
Physically he was a short, lean man with the sides of his head shaved and a tousled mess of hair on top. He wore loose streetwear in earth tones, patched with the symbols of his Shintech faith.
Kano accompanied Thorne to a meeting in the alley behind Club KuroLuxe in Polyphn, and fought alongside the group during the ensuing gravcar chase and the assault on The Relay Tower. He was killed during the Nexus assault there.
