The Drift Rats are a gang holding Docking Bays 50-80 on Camiri 4, behind a barricaded entry point. Roughly 28 members strong, they mostly use their territory as a hideout, committing crimes elsewhere and retreating behind their barricade to stay safe. Their symbol is a red rat on a green-and-yellow field, and their motto is “Better a Rat in the Drift than a King in a Cage.” Guards wear hacked-together green-and-yellow armor with matching mohawks.
Their emblem is nearly identical to that of the Neon Fangs, another Camiri 4 gang, suggesting the two may have splintered from a common origin.
The crew of The Scapegoat stored their ship in Drift Rats territory early on. The gang’s leader, Torik “Rustclaw” Sarr, ultimately betrayed the crew by trying to steal the ship for himself, sending two strike fighters in pursuit as the Scapegoat fled Camiri 4. Rustclaw died in the attempt.
