Hakumei Prefecture is one of many prefectures on the ultra-urbanized surface of Polyphn, marked by rain-slicked metal walkways, plasteel grates, and neon-drenched alleys. The air smells of burnt synth oil and soy noodles, with sub-orbital skyways humming overhead.
It’s the territory of Nexus Trading and the site of Thorne’s Episode 13 flashback adventure. Notable features include Club KuroLuxe, a nightclub used as an alley meeting point; Dr. Sial’s Clinic, a ripperdoc clinic in the underground; The Relay Tower, a Nexus data relay antenna; and Bloc 6, a residential district destroyed in a staged transport crash.
Thorne roamed Hakumei tracking down William Sallerist, meeting Mara Vex in the alley behind Club KuroLuxe, surviving a car chase through the streets, retreating to Dr. Sial’s Clinic in the underground, and joining an assault on The Relay Tower by Nexus forces, where his mother revealed the truth about Sallerist’s betrayal (Ep 13).
