Peter Haslow is a man in a silver suit who frequents The Vent bar in The Spigot. Bushy-bearded and bald, with wiry pale arms, he’s a competent mechanic who repairs bots in the dunes and scribes and installs ownership modules. Described by Dr. Iso as a self-described big-time snitch and “huge rat,” he’s nonetheless a nice guy at heart, and the two don’t get along. He ended up stuck on the Spigot years ago when a temporary job turned into a stable one and he could no longer afford the fare home.
He first appeared in Episode 25, when Thorne approached him at the Vent using the cover identity Tyson Fildar of Goodbot Electronics. Haslow agreed to sell information for 500 credits: the next autonomous shipment of ownership modules was due to arrive at Helium Docks #7 at 3am, unloaded entirely by bots with no human attendants. He was caught in a grenade blast at the Vent but survived, and was being questioned by Regulators as Thorne left the scene.
