The Spigot, also known as Delta-7, is the port city on Sibylen, a sprawling town that grew organically into a twisting maze of sun-baked streets and concrete modular apartments, centered on a refueling tower stretching from the surface to low orbit. As the poet Cassius put it: “The Spigot is the rusty throat of the innerbelt, ever swallowing the dreams of silver men.” It’s known for insatiable blue-collar labor, with helium-3 mining fields nearby worked by conveyor bots.
Sub-locations include The Vent, a local bar; Iso’s Shop (destroyed), Dr. Iso’s former clinic and black market shop; the Helium Docks, a loading zone between town and the mines; and the spaceport admin office.
The crew brought their damaged ship here for repairs (Ep 25). Haleyy led them to Dr. Iso’s shop, where Iso scanned her and confirmed crystalline microstructures growing in her frontal lobe. Iso then led the crew to The Vent to identify mechanic Peter Haslow as a source of intel on black-market ownership modules; Thorne got the details of an upcoming shipment from him, but a grenade thrown through the bar’s window killed the bartender before Robert could dispose of it outside. The crew suspected Viktor Strake had sent the attacker.
Investigating further, Felix hacked the Spigot’s camera network and traced the attacker to a docked Omnitech transport at the spaceport. Thorne infiltrated the spaceport admin office to route camera access back to Felix, and the crew breached the ship to find a second Robert-line clone, designated DT7X, who confirmed he’d tracked the Scapegoat using leftover Omnitech admin codes (Ep 26). Iso’s shop was later found bombed, with another Robert-line clone dead inside, and Iso officially joined the crew after losing her shop. The crew then raided the Helium Docks for the ownership module shipment (Ep 27).
