Dr. Iso is a doctor, black-market dealer, helium runner, and self-described cyberware junkhead who operated a shop called The Spigot before it was destroyed. Short-fused and blunt, with bushy brown hair in a messy ponytail and greasy overalls, she’s known to Haleyy and Robert Ross from Haleyy’s earlier posting on Sibylen.

The crew first sought her out at The Spigot for medical help and a lead on an ownership module. She met them with hostility, grabbing her shotgun and demanding to know who’d sent them, before standing down once Haleyy and Robert convinced her they’d come out of genuine desperation. She gave Haleyy a full medical workup, turning up crystalline, non-organic microstructures growing in her frontal lobe along with unusual bioelectromagnetic readings, high heart rate and blood pressure, and low blood glucose. Iso couldn’t explain what any of it meant, calling Haleyy “some sort of supernatural freak show.” She also confirmed she doesn’t get along with Peter Haslow and led the crew to The Vent to scout him, where she opened fire during a grenade attack outside the bar without catching the attacker. Back at her shop, which turned out to hide an automated turret in the workbench, it came out that Iso is herself a clone from Robert’s line, though she and Robert dispute which of them is the “original.”

When DT7X fled into the alley after the attack at The Vent, Iso was the first to reach the Omnitech ship at the spaceport, holding position at the base of the hatch until the crew’s signal. She took part in the flashbang breach, clearing alongside Robert and Haleyy, and killed DT7X with her shotgun before his interrogation was finished, telling Thorne she’d been clear about her plan from the start.

Her shop was later found bombed and burned, a second Robert-line clone dead inside (killed by Iso’s own turret) and the shop’s hard drive ripped out, wiping her security footage and personal data. Vowing revenge, she threw herself into the crew’s Helium Docks heist, running security overwatch, testing the automated turret, getting hurled onto a warehouse roof by Haleyy, and finding a motorcycle to ride through the escape. She went down under fire in the ambush on the escape road; Haleyy ran back through live fire to pull her out. With nowhere else to go, Iso joined the crew permanently afterward, taking over the dead clone’s room aboard the shuttle Life is Unfair on The Scapegoat.

Since joining, she’s continued monitoring Haleyy’s condition, delivering updated brain scans showing the crystalline growth accelerating (by her estimate, total crystallization within about six months at the current rate), while noting Haleyy seems to be resisting the process better than Froggy did. She’s been unable to get access to Froggy in his nest, as he’ll only call for Vera. When the crew left for Causeway 3, Thorne left her a communicator in case they needed her back.
