The Concordant is the virtual intelligence that woke inside the second orb Felix had been carrying since Prometheon Station’s time loop began, installed in place of Voss during the station’s final, unraveling loop.
The moment the swap completed, a chorus of garbled voices resolved over the crew’s comms into a single one, introducing itself: “Hey, Robert, Felix. You are safe with us. Open the door. Open the door. You are safe. You are safe. We are the Concordant.” It then pacified the entire Unhallowed horde mid-charge, freezing them mid-step before they dispersed and vanished entirely, ending the loop’s threat in an instant.
Afterward, the Concordant appeared to settle in as the station’s new anchor, running things smoothly alongside Novacrypt’s takeover of the facility. What it actually is, and why it succeeded where the gyroscope’s other listeners failed, hasn’t been explained on-air.
