Mistretta 4 is Dr. Elara Voss’s Omnitek research base on Wafisa, a squat, round building with a single entrance and loading bay, no windows, and exterior security cameras. It’s where Voss existed as a VI, running fabricated reports to Omnitek while secretly pursuing her own agenda against Virodyne. The interior houses her research equipment, a communications array, and a helper droid, all powered by the methane pipeline.
The crew first met Dr. Voss here (Ep 3). The gas supply had been cut off, forcing her to run on limited power and disconnect from the ExoNet, so she asked the crew to restore the flow. They destroyed The Switching Station to do it (Ep 4). Viktor Strake and Omnitek soldiers later traced the crew’s ship hack here (Ep 7-8), and in the resulting fight the crew learned that Voss is a VI.
