The Acceptable Loss is Viktor Strake’s personal ship, first encountered in Episode 7. Triangular, with three bird-like landing legs, it has the silhouette of a stealth jet. It carries one or two clone bodies in stasis at all times, kept in reserve for Strake’s use.
It was docked against Prometheon Station’s flank throughout the time loop, anchored to the station itself. On the station’s final, unraveling loop (Ep 33), Robert fired the Scapegoat’s sand chucker into it before it could be pulled apart by the collapsing gyroscope. Everything but a single small anchored chunk was torn free and lost to the void; what little remained kept tumbling past as the crew’s fight inside the station played out, eventually swallowed by the gyroscope along with the rest of the wreckage.
