DT7X was a Robert-line clone in the service of Omnitek Holdings: buzzed head, goatee, a build slightly different from other Robert clones the crew had encountered (Thorne noted a resemblance to “Ranger 2”). He was one of at least two Omnitech wet-work operatives sent to eliminate the crew.
DT7X threw the grenade that shattered the window of The Vent bar; Dr. Iso gave chase but lost him in the crowd. He tracked the crew from Scrapjack’s to Sibylen using Omnitech admin codes still embedded in The Scapegoat’s core systems, then returned to his docked ship at the Spigot spaceport, where Felix’s camera sweep caught him.
The crew breached his ship and flashbanged him; Haleyy tackled him down, and he was confirmed to be another Robert clone, designation DT7X. Interrogated, he confirmed he’d been ordered to wait out the Sibylen exosite situation and strike when the crew returned to the Spigot, though he claimed he was physically unable to reveal Omnitech’s command structure. He said he had a partner who’d run flank during the grenade attack and hadn’t yet returned. Before Thorne could finish negotiating with him, Dr. Iso shot him dead with her TX-7 shotgun. As he died, a dead man’s transponder, already active, fell from his bound hands.
